This just in..."The UKSA are proud to announce the UK National Skateboarding Championships 2008. This will be the first National Championships held in the UK since the 80’s. However, no need to worry. This won’t involve wearing numbers on your chest or anything too offensive. We’ll be taking the tradition of our other UKSA events such as Concrete Carnival and War of the Roses and moulding this into an event British skateboarding can really claim its own. The Street event will be a one off open event at a yet undisclosed venue and is proposed for September 2008. The Vert finals will be held during the same weekend taking qualifiers from the four legs of the UK Independent Vert Series. " Visit the UKSA site for more information.
