Skateboarding's Soul Can Also Be Found In West Virginia


I wanted to share with the readers of "The Skateboarder's Journal" an article written by Lenny Poage of West Virginia. It's about a fun little event he throws on the day after Thanksgiving, it's called the "WOTT Race", a group of skaters get together and...well, I leave the rest to Lenny.

On Saturday, November 24, 2007, the Huntington-area Outlaw Slalom Skaters/ West Virginia Chapter of the DownHillBillies held the 3rd Annual Working off the Turkey race (WOTT). As the title states, we’ve been having this in SOME form the weekend after Thanksgiving for 3 years.
