Between 29th January and 5th March Dave Cornthwaite, the British man who pushed a skateboard across Australia from Perth to Brisbane in 2006, is returning Down Under for a six week speaking tour to promote the book about his incredible adventure.
The BoardFree Australia Book Tour comes one year after Cornthwaite rolled into Brisbane on his famous board, Elsa, completing a world record breaking 5823km skate across the country. The journey, which caught the attention of millions around the world, raised over $60,000 for three charities including Sailability Australia and Lowe Syndrome, and has since inspired many other experienced and novice skaters to embark on their own journeys for charity.
